Sleek make up

I know I was suppose to write "how to get a foundation that matches with your skin", but I have to talk about this product I bought last Friday. Its the Sleek eyeshadow pallete. I went to superdrugs the other day and I saw so many brands that I didnt know and I saw the sleek counter,as I have heard good things about it before I thought I could try it out. O-M-G! ITS SO AMAZING. I only bought the Storm palette as i didnt have much money with me, and still was only £6. The palette comes with 12 different wearable shades,  well pigmented and easy to blend. its a MUST for your make up kit and you can make looks from day to night.

I havent been able to update my blog lately just because I have been so busy with college and I am going on holiday for 2 weeks to Brazil,so  I have been organizing everything.

I cant wait to buy other sleek make up, I tried on their blushers and the colours are so amazing, their compact powder is pretty good too.

So guys I hope this was helpful and I recommend these products, they are so good in quality, the packaging looks very pretty for your handbag too.

Here it is a picture of my storm pallet, and the link for sleek website but you also can buy it from superdrug too.

Ok, I tomorrow I will write about the chanel foundation I bought the other day with the loose powder.

they are all wearable colours and you can make so many looks with those.

Hair Products

Ok everyone I am sorry I haven't updated my blog for a few weeks is because my computer broke, but its all good now, I picked it up today and I have lots of new things to upload and talk about.

As I said on my last post I was going to talk about a hair product, which is by the brand Redken.

I have bought on-line at feelunique.com which I suggest for people that live in the UK. They have so many good products, and sometimes you can find it cheaper than if you buy it from the shops.

The Redken product I bought it was  from their Smooth Down range for dry hair. I had seen so many reviews about it, so i thought of making my own. The shampoo and conditioner is absolutely AMAZING! My type of hair is normal, but sometimes it can get dry if I can't be bothered to have conditioning treatments at least twice a month. I used it for 2 weeks and my hair feels so good and hydrated. The bad thing about it is that it didn't give me enough volume, which I quite like it sometimes, but I think that is because my hair wasn't appropriated for this range, so I suggest it for people who has dry hair, or people who tint/highlight their hair, and for people with normal or oily hair try and look on their website and see reviews about it too, dont forget about the feel unique website, lots of bargain there, and I am definitely trying other Redken products

Next I am going to talk about foundations and how to choose one to match with your skin.

FOR THE BRAZILIANS

My favourites lipsticks and brands.

As I said, I was going to talk about my favourite lipsticks, colours that suit my skin and brands.

I have chosen 6 of the ones I wear the most. Some of them I bought only 2 weeks ago but I have been wearing it everyday.
Starting from left to right:

with flash

no flash

CliniqueHigh Impact Lip Colour SPF15 in Sassy Spicy (£15)- I love a red lipstick and this one is the best for any occasion. Its a moderate to full coverage, depending on how you apply it, has SPF15 which is really important and it can lasts for a long time. The packaging is really nice too.
MAC in Saint Germain (£13)- Now another quality lipstick! I have had this for over 2 months now and I love the colour its been in so many magazines and its one of the SPRING/SUMMER 2011 colour. I love MAC products. I dont have many as I cant afford all of them. This lipstick smells beautiful, and the packaging is very basic, but MAC is all about the product not the packaging. This is a pretty bright pink lipstick with a nice sheen to it. I think it looks great on both fair and tan skin.
Bourjois in Sweet Kiss-Another red and realy easy to apply too.Lovely packaging and reminds me of the Dior ones. I dont remember the price and I couldnt find it online but you can find it in any drugstore.
Rimmel in 124 Bordeaux- I've had this for a long time now, and usually wear when the weather is really cold, and when I wear some dark colour or some light colour like white or baby pink, so it doesnt look too much. It wouldnt look very nice on a tanned skin.
TOPSHOP LIPS in DESERT (topshop £8)- OMG I couldnt wait to talk about this one. I bought this a few weeks ago and it surprised me how good it its. definitely buying other colour.its so easy to apply and the colour stays for sooo long. just love it. everything about it.
Chanel-Line Rouge COCO in 11 - Well, I only have one thing to say:CHANEL IS CHANEL!

I hope you all enjoyed it, and if you have a favourite one and wants to tell me so I could try out for my nexts favourite lipsticks posts, please let me know. Or suggest if what i have written wasnt good enough or if you want more details on the nexts ones so I can improve, as I am just starting.

On my next post I am going to show my outfit of the day, and hopefully if I get in the post tomorrow some good hair products that I have been waiting and i cant wait to try.

Ciao!

Glamour is giving away clinique gifts for you hand bag!

I am still going to post about my favourites lipsticks that I have been using lately.

I just got really excited about this on the way home from college and I have to share. I am a huuuuuuuge clinique fan so when I saw the April Glamour magazine (which you can find them in a few WHMsmiths, cos I bought mine in Guildford, then when I went to the one in  Godalming they didnt have it there, so lucky I bought mine before)  anyway, this month, when you buy the magazine you have the choice to choose between 10 products from clinique. 10!!!! The one I chose was the eyes and lips make up remover which I was going to buy the big bottle as mine finished a few weeks ago, but I got a little one so I can carry in my bag, and it is one of my favourite make up remover cos it moisture my skin too.

There are nine others between face moisturisers, lipgloss and lipstick, eye cream and mascara.

I would recomend the High impact Lip Colour as it has SPF15, I've used these for years and it hydrates your lips and it has a nice colour for a everyday make up. I have as well the super balm moisturising gloss, which has an ultra-glossifying and nourishes your lips too. It suits all shade.

Well I actually suggest all of them really.

So that's it, I had to share this, I got so excited when I saw haha.

I hope you all enjoyed it and please leave comments and suggestions.

Ciao!

Natalie Portman make up

Natalie Portman
Here it is a very nice make up that you can wear during the day and you can spicy it up for evening if you want.
Skin
It is very important that before you apply your foundation you use a hydrating serum, which will plump and soften your skin. I use Decleor Floral Anti-pollution Moisturising. It is quit expensive but any moisturising that matches with your skin type will do. I have really dry skin so that one is perfect for me and lasts for ages!
Natalie has a really flawless skin and natural shine. She doesnt have much make up on either, as she has a great skin.So for this look I have used Maxfactor Experience Weightless Foundation. You can find ir in any drugstore. To apply you can choose whats best for you. I like to use a brush but its easy to apply with your fingers too.

Eyes
Shade
Apply eye primer to your lids to even out redness and help eyeshadow stay put. Try Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion.£12
Next, sweep soft grey shadow over your lids, then top with a little gold. I used Max Factor Super Nova pearls duo pallet ( only the light gold) and Moonshine Meadows duo pallet (but only the light grey) they both has a little shimmer on them which make it looks really nice.

Define
To create lashes that look thicker, apply black eye pencil to your upper lash line (or liquid or gel liner) Maybelline Lasting Drama Gel Liner , very easy to apply and it comes with a brush that actually works very well!

Dont forget to apply concealer in the red areas like around your nose and chin most of the times and around the eyes.
Lashes

For the Lashes use a volume mascara, it can be your favourite one. To add glamour, place a few false lashes at the outer corner of your eyes. I like Eylure Individual Lash Ultra (£5.06, from superdrug.)
Brows
Brush taupe or soft brown brow powder through your eyebrows to add definition.

Cheeks
  • For a fresh, dewy finish, use a cream blush.Max Factor in Soft Candy £6,99
  • Finish with a little translucent powder over your cheeks, forehead and nose to prevent shine.

Lips
  • Give your red-carpet look edge with fuchsia lips. Try Rouge Dior in Star Fuchsia (£22.50, available nationwide), which Natalie is wearing here, or like I have used the no7 Pink Crush, You can apply straight on the lips and blend it with your fingers. (I dont remember how much it was).
  •
  • So this is what it looked like from my camera. I look much paller than her but I think its because of my camera.
  • I hope you all enjoyed it.

  • I am trying to get hold of a really good filming camera so I can film my next tutorials without the need to write and you to read.

  • Next I am going to talk about my favourites lipsticks(pinks,reds,plums,nudes...)
  •
  • Ciao!
